Een feestelijke doorstart van de Nipper-competitie na 3 weken. (Overigens de eerste 3 weken in 10 jaar dat er geen competitie was.) Een thema met allemaal liedjes uit Disney-films is zeker op zijn plaats. En had mogelijk al lang moeten aan bod komen. Want Disney is ook altijd een beetje muziek geweest. Jammer genoeg is de financiële Disney-honger ook amper te stillen. En dus vind je het gros van de Disney-klassiekers zelfs niet in de originele versie op Spotify. Wat eigenlijk het voornaamste struikelblok was om niet al veel eerder een Disney-aflevering bij Nipper te houden. (Als het niet de originele film-versie van het nummer is, staat de uitvoerder telkens tussen haakjes achteraan.)
Ik herinner mij nog – lang voor ik de films op video of dvd zocht – dat ik al een fervente verzamelaar was van Disney-muziekjes. Op wat toen nog het Disney-huislabel was, Vista Records. En mocht ik er toen posters van gehad hebben, dan had Annette Funicello (mogelijk met andere Mousketeers) boven mijn bed gehangen. Maar even serieus: 30 muziekjes uit legendarische Disney-films van de 20e eeuw. Zeggen dat de muziekjes even bekend zijn als de films is wellicht wat overdreven. Maar toch, sommigen blijven onvergetelijk. Hoe onvergetelijk, dat mogen jullie de volgende week zelf bepalen.
